Container Sauna

Yes. You can visit our workshop in Suffolk, or we can send you a video walk-round. To sit in one first, find a sauna near you on our map that is open to the public, and book a session like any other guest. Ask through the build enquiry form and we'll arrange it.

We get asked this a lot, and the answer is no: we build outdoor saunas only. Fresh air on your face when you step out is half the experience; even a view of the sky in the middle of a city changes it. However nice an indoor sauna is, that sense of escape is what's missing. Every build we do, covered or not, keeps that connection to the outdoors.

Every sauna is built to order, and the workshop queue changes month to month, so we don't print a fixed lead time. Tell us when you need it open, and we'll explain the lead time against that date.

All our builds come with a 12-month structural warranty. Heaters are covered by a 1-year manufacturer warranty. Spare parts are available, and there is an optional care plan: two site visits a year, with video calls in between.

We arrange a short call to go through your project, then send you a personalised quote. 70% on order secures your workshop slot, with the remaining 30% on delivery; we send progress photos as we build and confirm a completion date; final payment is taken on completion, along with a handover on using your sauna, and business tips, if relevant. Financing is also available, spread over three years, from about £1,100 a month for a 10ft container and about £1,300 for a horsebox.

It's a personal choice based on how and where you'll use the sauna, and both let you pour water on the rocks. Wood-fired is the more traditional, romantic option and ideal for off-grid sites. Electric is the more convenient choice, with app control and timers.

Yes. It's built on an Ifor Williams 510 trailer or similar and is fully road-legal, so once it's yours it can go wherever a vehicle can tow it, whether that's a permanent pitch or a one-off event.

Yes. Unlike a permanent build, our container saunas are relocatable, so if you move site or your plans change, the sauna can move with you rather than being written off.

Our saunas are built to last for years, if not decades, when well maintained. Longevity depends a lot on the setting (coastal, woodland, garden) and how it's looked after.

Fairly minimal. Clean with warm soapy water (an eco dish soap) and a microfibre cloth, and bake the sauna dry after each session (heat for around 30 minutes). Oil the benches as they need it: under heavy commercial use, at least every three months, sanding first if they need it. Once a month, take the stones out and hoover under the heater's little hatch, which keeps the air flowing, and check the stones while you are there: if they crumble or sound hollow when you knock them together, replace all of them, not just the top ones. Wood-fired heaters also need a chimney sweep.
